Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his second wife Jean now lie in a double leaded casket beneath a tall stone cross under an Oak tree – well away from All Saints church it’s said because Doyle had incurred the wrath of the Church of England more than once in his lifetime. Underneath the stone cross you will find the words “Steel true, blade straight”
