Minstead Village Shop & Tearoom is an exquisite  gem nestling in this traditional New Forest Village with its pub, church, coffee shop and village green. Here you will find  an excellent display of fresh fruit and vegetables and a mouth watering selection of local cheeses, cakes and pies in the  deli counter. The fridge is crammed with mouthwatering foodstuffs such as game pies and local sausages. On the shelves you will find fresh locally-made cakes, breads including goodies from Long Crichel Organic Bakery and other baked goods. Also available is New Forest honey, preserves and sweets.

There is also a wide range of gifts, many of them local, to suit all ages and tastes and everything is sensibly priced and served with a smile . Also available is all the other everyday stuff you’d expect to find in a little village shop –  groceries,  household items, papers, chocolates, and so forth. Rest awhile in the Tearoom or outside in the sheltered seating area and enjoy some refreshment whilst overlooking the pretty village green with its stocks, tree seat, grazing ponies and cattle.

The shop is also a Local Information Point, so if it is local or visitor information you need this is a good place to stop! Even better why not stay in the shop’s delightful garden hideaway accommodation in the pretty garden at the back of the shop?  Your dog can stay in the garden hideaway with you and the pub is a short walk across the village green .  Taking the dog for a walk takes on a whole new meaning in Minstead!
